Overview

Several severe thunderstorms moved across eastern IA between 4 and 10 pm Friday evening. Significant wind damage was surveyed in Buchanan and Linn counties with damage to crops, trees, power lines, farm buildings, and damage to siding on homes. The town of Prairieburg and rural portions of Buchanan county received the most extensive damage. In addition, two tornadoes were confirmed near Fairbank and Prairieburg. |

Tornadoes
