An Unsettled Weekend For The West

A large and strong Pacific storm system will impact a good portion of the West this weekend. Heavy rain, widespread mountain snow, gusty winds and a variety of marine related hazards are likely. The heavy rain threat may result in some flash flooding today and Saturday across north-central portions of California and southwestern Oregon, especially near recent and vulnerable burn scar areas.
