.DISCUSSION...

Critical fire weather conditions are not expected to develop 
thanks to elevated relative humidity and lighter winds. Hot 
conditions will return to the region Friday and beyond with 
temperatures trending 5-10 degrees above average. Afternoon 
thunderstorms will form on terrain Thursday, producing localized 
flash flooding, gusty winds, small hail, and lightning. Storms 
will wane in coverage Friday into the weekend, but flash flooding 
will remain a concern.
