.DISCUSSION...Shower and thunderstorm activity become more 
widespread through the weekend as above normal moisture 
interacts with a low lifting from the Desert Southwest through 
the central Rockies. Moderate to heavy rainfall rates will be 
possible and many areas are likely to see wetting rainfall with 
snow over the highest peaks. Drier conditions return early next 
week but an active pattern look to bring periodic showers through
next week.
