Severe Thunderstorms in the Central U.S.; Heavy to Excessive Rainfall in the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians

Severe thunderstorms producing damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes are expected through Tuesday across parts of the central Plains and lower to mid Missouri Valley. A winter weather system will be moving out of the region tonight with snow ending from north to south. Scattered snow showers, some heavy, will persist through mid-evening, especially from Ouray south to Red Mountain Pass along Highway 550.
