Severe Weather and Heavy Rain from the Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic; Heat Persists in the East

Widespread strong thunderstorms with damaging winds and locally heavy rain are expected from the Upper Ohio Valley into the southern Mid-Atlantic today and portions of the central Appalachians and Carolinas on Saturday. Fourth of July Climatology for Eastern Utah and Western Colorado

Temperatures for the Fourth of July this year will be near to slightly above normal normal. Skies will be mostly clear, but afternoon showers and thunderstorms remain possible across the higher terrain. Please stay weather-aware as you enjoy the holiday.
