Heavy Snow and Disruptive Ice in the Upper Midwest; Severe Thunderstorms in the Southern Plains

A late season winter storm will produce a combination of heavy snow and disruptive ice starting this evening in the Northern Plains and moving into the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes by tonight continuing through Thursday. Sunny Today with Increasing Clouds on Monday

Sunny and warmer conditions can be expected today. Scattered snow showers will develop over the higher terrain later today into this evening. Warmer temperatures are expected on Monday with increasing clouds and breezy conditions by the afternoon. This next system will bring areas of light snow to mountain locations Monday night into Tuesday with drier conditions returning on Wednesday.
