The thunderstorms could produce lightning, brief gusty winds and heavy downpours. After Wednesday, heat will build with most areas reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s for afternoon highs, with a few locations reaching the middle 90s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
