Unsettled weather will continue as we go into a new week. Daily chances of showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast, as a system over the northern Gulf region slowly moves northward. A few of the storms could become strong, with gusty outflow winds and heavy downpours the main threat. Widespread severe weather is not expected at this time. Rainfall totals across the Tennessee Valley should range from 1-2" with locally higher amounts.
