Last Map Update: Tue, Jun 23, 2026 at 11:12:34 pm CDT

There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

Low chances of showers and thunderstorms are expected this week, followed by a transition to hot and humid weather over the weekend. Highs will reach the lower to middle 90s over the weekend with lows only in the 70s.
There is a medium chance of extreme heat next week (July 1-3) across northwestern AL and portions of southern middle TN. This means there is a medium risk (40-60%) for temperatures to reach or exceed temperatures in the mid 90s with heat indices above 105 degrees F. Be sure to stay weather aware if you have outdoor plans!
Our survey team found EF-1 and EF-0 tornado damage in the New Market area today (near Winchester Road) from the storms on 6/22. Additional surveys will be needed over the next several days- we will provide updates as we have them.
