Strong to Severe storms are expected to develop in the early afternoon hours and push east into the evening hours across the area (between 1 PM and 9 PM). Damaging winds, flash flooding, and a tornado or two is possible with this activity.
We are in a low to medium risk of flash flooding today into tonight. If a round of non-severe storms occurs this morning, another round of strong to severe storms later today could heighten the flash flooding potential.
While daily chances of showers and storms exist through late week, the higher probabilities are forecast to be on Thursday. Storms will be capable of producing some gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Stay weather aware if you have outdoor activities this week!
