Unseasonably cold conditions return in the wake of a cold front passage last night. Although the sun returns, high temperatures today will only rise into the lower 40s, with gusty northwest winds. Tonight will be very cold with lows in the lower 20s, and wind chill values from the single digits to teens. Cold conditions continue Tuesday. Conditions will moderate as we close out 2025 and go into 2026 on New Years Day - Thursday. Rain chances return to the Tennessee Valley on Friday.
