SALINA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT The average monthly temperature at Salina Municipal Airport was 68.2 degrees, which was 3.1 degrees warmer than average. It tied for the 20th warmest May since records began in 1900, and the warmest since 2018. The warmest daily temperature was 95 degrees on the 7th, and the coolest was 32 degrees on the 3rd. Precipitation-wise, 2.19 inches was measured for the month, which was 2.85 inches below average. It was the 28th driest May on record, and the driest since 2018. CHANUTE MARTIN-JOHNSON AIRPORT The average monthly temperature at Chanute Martin-Johnson Airport was 68.8 degrees, which was 1.9 degrees warmer than average. It tied for the 19th warmest May since records began in 1896, and the warmest since 2018. The warmest daily temperature was 93 degrees on the 6th, and the coolest was 33 degrees on the 3rd.
