Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 4 to 8 inches with the highest  amounts  occurring in central and south central Kansas. There were several reports of sleet mixed in with the snow across southeastern Kansas for part of the day Saturday, but ice accumulation was not a problem with this winter storm. The  accumulating snowfall produced snow covered and slick highways.
