November 10th 2025 Rare Kansas Aurora Event

Overview

A significant geomagnetic storm triggered multiple solar eruptions, which allowed the aurora to be seen with the naked eye across all of Kansas. It is pretty rare for the northern lights to be seen this far south without the help of camera using long exposures.
