Heavy rain in mid to late May results in flooding

Multiple rounds of heavy rain started in the middle of May and continue through the remainder of the month, peaking for the Memorial Day weekend. As of Saturday May 30th, Wichita has had the 2nd wettest May on record with a monthly total of 11.77 inches.
