Overview

Rotating thunderstorms developed the evening of June 16. The storms brought a tornado along with damaging winds and large hail.

Tornadoes

Additionally, the table can fill the entire window by clicking the small circular expanding arrow icon at the very top right of the table and returned to its original size by clicking the button again. The Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories:

86-110 mph

Extreme
166-200 mph

Catastrophic
200+ mph
ef-scale
Tornadoes that fail to impact any ratable damage indicators on the EF-Scale are rated EF-Unknown (EF-U)

            An EF-1 tornado with path length of 9.37
            miles began at this location. The path width
            was 100 yards with a peak wind speed of 105
            mph. The tornado moved mostly over rural
            areas of Putnam County but caused impacts to
            two homes and several groves of trees.
