...THE START OF MAINTENANCE ON THE MINOT WEATHER RADAR HAS BEEN
POSTPONED UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10TH...

The start time of planned maintenance for the Minot Doppler
weather radar, KMBX, has been postponed until Wednesday, June
10th. The radar will remain in normal operation until Wednesday
morning.

The radar will be out of service beginning Wednesday morning,
June 10th. The planned maintenance is currently expected to be
completed by sometime on Friday, June 12th. The maintenance being
done includes installation of new hardware, and removal of
obsolete hardware that will allow for a new design to improve
radar data quality.

While the Minot radar is out of service from June 10th through
June 12th, the following surrounding radars can be used: KBIS at
Bismarck, KMVX at Mayville, and KGGW at Glasgow, Montana.
