GENERAL REMARKS: A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN BETA AND A HIGH
PRESSURE TO THE NORTHEAST RESULTED IN PERSISTENT MODERATE TO STRONG
ONSHORE EAST AND NORTHEAST WINDS ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND
SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI. THE PEAK WINDS AND PEAK WATER LEVELS BELOW
COVER THE PERIOD FROM 12Z SEPTEMBER 19TH THROUGH 12Z SEPTEMBER 23RD.
IN GENERAL, THE STRONGEST WINDS AND HIGHEST WATER LEVELS OCCURRED
WHEN BETA'S CENTER OF CIRCULATION WAS WELL REMOVED FROM THE LOCAL
AREA AND THUS MUCH OF THE LOCAL IMPACT MAY BE CONSIDERED INDIRECT.
WHILE TROPICAL STORM WATCHES AND WARNINGS WERE ISSUED FOR PORTIONS
OF THE COASTAL WATERS, NO TROPICAL HEADLINES WERE HOISTED FOR LAND
AREAS.

10/17/20 UPDATE - CORRECTED WIND REPORT AND NAME OF WX FLOW SITE AT
