The National Weather Service is at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI this week!  AirVenture runs through Sunday, July 29th.

Check out our booth in the Federal Pavilion, located near the main air show runway.  You can cool off in the Hurricane Simulator, touch a mini tornado, view weather instruments that ride on airplanes, navigate through our websites with forecasters from The Aviation Weather Center and your local National Weather Service offices, and ask us all sorts of questions!

The Federal Pavilion is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily.  There are interesting presentations about a variety of topics, including General Aviation Safety Improvements, Volk Field Air National Guard Base, U.S. Customs and Border Control Air and Marine Operations, Aviation Weather Center Area Forecast, Flying to the Bahamas, NOAA Coastal Mapping, etc.  We hope to see you there!
