Hot temperatures and high humidity are forecast to continue across the mid-Mississippi Valley into this weekend. Heat Advisories remain in effect. Heavy to excessive rainfall occurring at times through the weekend could bring areas of flooding to parts of the northern Rockies, upper Midwest, central Great Lakes, and southern New England. The telephone company that supports the communication circuit from our office to the weather radio transmitters at Janesville, Racine, Sheboygan and Fond du Lac will be working on those lines this morning from 8 am to 10 am. Unfortunately, that means those radios may go offline for a time during this maintenance period. We should be back to normal operations on those transmitters by 10 am.
