An area of low pressure made its way into the region on December 13th and 14th, bringing with it a very warm and moist airmass to southern Wisconsin. Several temperature and precipitation records were broken due to this low pressure system, with many of the records broken on December 13. The below maps shows a two-day total of rainfall across southern Wisconsin and across the state from 7 AM CST Saturday, December 12 through 7 AM CST Monday, December 14:

 

 

 

Also included here are the high temperatures across the state and southern Wisconsin for December 13. Many of these temperatures were record highs.
