Persistent onshore flow across the Southeast and portions of the mid-Atlantic will keep the risk of rip currents through the weekend. Most areas of southern Wisconsin received between 1.50 and 2.50 inches from Tuesday night, October 25, 2016 to Wednesday night, October 26, 2016.

The airport sites at Milwaukee and Madison set record rainfall amounts for October 26:

Milwaukee received 1.80 inches of rainfall, which broke the old record of 0.84 inches, set in 1925.

Madison received 2.34 inches of rainfall, which broke to old record of 1.08 inches, set in 1917.
