Several rounds of heavy rain is expected through Friday. An additional 2-3 inches of rain (on top of today's heavy rain) is expected on Friday across parts of northwest Florida, coastal Alabama, and southeast Mississippi with isolated higher totals (potentially double) where heavy rain repeatedly moves over the same locations. Rainfall totals will vary significantly across short distances. Greatest concern for flooding is near and south of I-10 in Alabama and Florida.
