Numerous showers and storms are expected across the area through late this week. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected potentially resulting in areas of flash flooding across southeast Mississippi, southwest Alabama, and northwest Florida. Widespread rainfall totals of 3 to 6 inches are possible through the end of the week, with locally higher amounts where storms train over the same areas.
