We are keeping our eyes on Friday afternoon & evening for the chance at severe weather. Damaging wind gusts will be the main concern as isolated to scattered storms develop ahead of a cold front, but some hail and isolated flooding cannot be ruled out either. Areas along and north of I-40 have the greatest chance at seeing strong to severe storms. Stay tuned for updates!
Increasing heat and humidity through tomorrow before a potentially strong cold front arrives. Showers and storms will be confined to the higher terrain today, then increase in coverage mid to late tomorrow along with possible strong to severe storms.
