Weekend Showers and Thunderstorms Over the Southeast U.S.

A slow moving storm system over the northern Gulf Coast will continue periods of showers and thunderstorms over much of the Southeast U.S. through this weekend. The risk for heavy to excessive rainfall increases on Sunday as a surge of increased moisture moves over parts of northern Florida into southern Georgia. Read More >

A few showers and thunderstorms are possible today. Saturday will be dry with temperatures cooler than normal. The chance of rain returns again on Sunday, and increases on Monday and Tuesday.
Outside of isolated showers in the mountains, drier and cooler conditions are expected today with highs in the 70s for most locations. Tonight will be cool with lows in the 40s to low 50s. Rain chances will be limited again on Saturday with highs in the 70s again.
