The Entiat River in the Cascades north of Wenatchee accumulated significant amounts of ice during the cold weather. As the weather warmed, the ice broke up, floated downstream, and becamed jammed.

Our thanks to Joni Vanderbilt, Wildland Hydrologist at the Wenatchee-Okanogan National Forest for these pictures.
