Do you have a group that would like to take a tour of our office and see what we do at the National Weather Service?

Include the size of your group and any date/time preference you would like for your visit. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

*Many groups like to visit during the hour before our weather balloon launch (9am PST/10am PDT) so they can watch the balloon launching process*

 

Directions:

The office is co-located with the Doppler weather radar on the West Plains. 

From Spokane: Take 1-90 west up Sunset Hill. Take exit 277 and follow US-2 about 7.5 miles west, though Airway Heights. Turn right (north) on Rambo Road. Follow it about 3 miles.

From Medical Lake: Take Brooks Road and head north about 5 miles. Turn right (east) on US-2 and follow it about 3 miles. Turn left (north) on Rambo Road. Follow it about 3 miles.

From Davenport: Head east on US-2 for about 25 miles. Turn left (north) on Rambo Road and follow it about 3 miles. 

From Nine Mile Falls: Follow Hwy 291 south to Seven Mile Road and turn right (west). Go over Seven Mile bridge and continue down the road about 3 miles. Turn left on Garfield Road and follow it for about 1 mile. Turn right on Lincoln Road for about 2.5 miles. Turn left on Rambo Road and stay on it for about 4 miles. The office will be on the right.
