Tracking Weekend Storm Impacts

A storm and trailing cold front will continue to slowly move through the Gulf Coast and Southeast U.S. through this weekend with widespread rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. This nicely developed storm brought strong wind and heavy rain and snow to most of the Inland Northwest on Groundhog's Day, 2 Feb 2001. These images show the storm on the afternoon of the 1st before it made landfall.
