Record Warmth for the Central and West; Active Weather for Alaska and Hawaii

High pressure from the west coast to the southeast will bring above normal temperatures through Friday. Meanwhile, strong low pressure near the Great Lakes will bring rain and snow showers with occasional gusty winds. Electronic Systems Analyst

The Electronic Systems Analyst (ESA) is responsible for maintaining all of the electronic equipment used by our office. This includes the radar, ASOS, AWIPS and the local area network (LAN).

The ESA works with the Meteorologist In Charge, representatives at the National Weather Service Eastern Region Headquarters and the forecast office Electronic Technicians to ensure that all equipment runs at peak performance.
