Atmospheric River in the West; Strong Winds in the Northeast

A strong atmospheric river will continue moderate to heavy rainfall with possible flooding, gusty to high winds, and mountain snows for parts of the Northwest U.S. today into Thursday. Overview

Thunderstorms developed quickly during the morning of June 2, 2019. A supercell thunderstorm formed near Tilford, South Dakota and moved through Rapid City, Hermosa, and Fairburn before dissipating by late afternoon. This storm produced large hail, which damaged homes, vehicles, and crops.
