Heat and Fire Weather Concerns for the Center of the Nation; Coastal Impacts Across the East

Excessive heat returns for portions of the Plains today where heat indices will likely climb above the century mark. Furthermore, warm temperatures, strong winds and dry fuels may result in rapid spread of wild fires across the western High Plains today. Denver's 90 Degree Statistics for July of 2020


Overall it was another warm July with an average temperature of 76.5 degrees.  There were 23 days in which the high was 90 degrees or more.  Finally, through July 31st, there have been "42" Days, with a high of 90 or above, at Denver so far this season.
