.DISCUSSION...
WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTH COUNTRY
OVERNIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY AS A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FROM
THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION TO THE GULF OF MAINE. A RAIN SNOW MIX WILL
BE LIKELY FOR THE VALLEYS WITH PREDOMINATELY SNOW IN THE HIGHER
TERRAIN. ANY ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER THE HIGHER PEAKS
WILL BE 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LITTLE TO NO ACCUMULATION OVER
ELEVATIONS LESS THAN 1000 FEET. DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN SATURDAY
WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.
