Hurricane Erin Moving Away from the North Carolina Coast, Dangerous Surf & Rip Currents Continue; Hazardous Heat out West

Tropical storm conditions, storm surge flooding and coastal flooding continue today across the Outer Banks and portions of the Mid-Atlantic coast. Overview

On Saturday, August 19th, a severe thunderstorm rolled into Loup County, Nebraska and underwent rapid intensification. 4 separate tornado tracks were found and there were several areas of straight line wind damage.
