Another warm day ahead with lower rain and storm chances. The best chance for showers and storms will be from mid afternoon through early evening mainly north and west of Orlando. High temps near 90 over the interior but holding in the mid 80s along the immediate coast (barrier islands) due to the sea breeze. A Moderate risk of rip currents exists at the beaches.
Highs will reach into the mid 90s over interior East Central Florida by the middle of the week.
This coming Friday at Orlando/Sanford Int'l Airport! Hurricane experts from NOAA & the USAF will visit, flying aboard a USAF Reserve WC-130J hurricane hunter aircraft and a NOAA WP-3D Orion aircraft, to raise awareness of the impacts from tropical cyclones. More info at the link above.
