Dry conditions will continue today through the day on Friday, with hotter daytime temperatures. Breezy conditions are expected at times with south winds. Temperatures will be warm tonight with lows mostly in the mid 70s.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible with the approach of a cold front on Friday night, mainly across the area north of a Sweetwater to Brownwood line. Potential thunderstorm hazards include dangerous lightning, strong, gusty winds, hail and locally heavy rainfall. Low temperatures Friday night are expected to be in the lower to mid 70s.
Partly cloudy and dry for the 4th of July across West Central Texas. Highs will climb into the mid 90s.
