Last Map Update: Wed, Sep 3, 2025 at 2:30:19 am CDT

Areas of patchy fog may develop tonight across most of the area. In most locations visibility will only drop to 1-3 miles, but a few locations may see lower visibilities. Any fog will be patchy and transitory.
Below average temperatures will continue this week as a pair of cold fronts bring a taste of fall late in the week. Higher shower and storm chances exist Wednesday evening, and again Friday into the weekend.

Let's take a peek back at the temperature and precipitation statistics for August 2025. Tulsa ended up WAY below normal on temperatures and precipitation, too. Fort Smith finished August with slightly above normal temperatures and below normal on precipitation. Fayetteville saw normal temperatures and almost double their normal precipitation, thanks largely to the rains on the 27th and 28th that unfortunately, led to flooding in the city.
