Fog will be possible again across the Northern and Central Panhandle early this Sunday morning with the northern most area potentially seeing some pockets of freezing fog. If you happen to find yourself driving in fog, use your low-beam headlights. Also be sure to drive slowly and keep your distance from other vehicles.

Rain is expected to return to the Panhandles this morning and continue throughout the day as rain moves from SW to NE across the region. Midday would be the best timing for most locations to see some rain. Locally heavy rain and lightning with some thunderstorms will also be possible.

Peak timing for measurable rainfall will mainly be during daytime hours where 0.1-0.4" of rainfall is expected. Portions of the Panhandles, especially the western Panhandles have the highest chance of seeing rainfall amounts of 0.5" or even higher.
