Tracking Winter Weather and Frigid Temperatures This Weekend

Another clipper will drop into the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest into Sunday with snow and gusty winds contributing to some areas of blizzard conditions and snow squalls. Once again this year, the La Crosse National Weather Service office is hosting a booth at the La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV & Hunting show at the La Crosse Center in downtown La Crosse, WI. We will be there through Sunday afternoon.

Our booth location has moved - we are now in the upper Ballroom. Take the escalator or stairs up to the 2nd level.

At our booth we will have a tornado chamber, a lightning simulator, and a static electricity generator (van de Graaff generator). We'll also have a variety of informational brochures and weather-related videos.
