A multi-day thunderstorm and heavy rain event will impact the south-central U.S. this Memorial Day weekend. Severe thunderstorms may produce large hail, severe gusts, and a possible tornado or two across portions of the central and southern Plains through Monday. Overview
After record crests along the Kickapoo river, the flooding still continues. Crests have been reached and waters are quickly receding. However, additional heavy rains are possible over the next several days If they fall over the river basin, additional flooding would occur.
