As high pressure builds across the region, shower and thunderstorm activity will become limited for most of the week as clear weather dominates. High temperatures will become seasonably hot, reaching the middle to upper 90s for much of central Alabama this week.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms today, mainly south of Interstate 85. High temperatures in the 90s with a light easterly wind.
Isolated evening shower or thunderstorm south of Interstate 85; otherwise, fair. Low temperatures tonight in the low 70s. Calm to very light wind.
