There is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms for all of Central Alabama from through 7 AM Thursday morning. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph. There is also a threat for a tornado or two & large hail up to quarter size.
For the rest of the night, conditions will be cloudy across Central Alabama with periods of showers & thunderstorms, a few may become strong to severe. Early morning low temperatures will range from near 40 degrees northwest to the middle 50s southeast.
For Thursday, showers will be ending before midday, then the sky will become sunny. Daytime high temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s. Winds will be from the north at 15 to 25 mph & gusty.
