Weather Radar Outage
High and low temperatures this week will be as much as 15 to 20 degrees above what we'd expect for early March, in the mid to upper 70s through midweek and then upper 70s to lower 80s late in the week. Rain-free weather is forecast through Wednesday, with opportunities for showers and a few thunderstorms thereafter.
The DOD weather radar located between Auburn and Montgomery, Alabama (KMXX) is offline due to a part failure. Outage duration is one to as much as two weeks. Showers and a few thunderstorms may return towards the end of next week. Surrounding weather radars are available to NWS meteorologists for analysis and tracking.
