There is Level 1 to 2 of 4 risk for flash flooding through Saturday night with the greatest potential across the eastern half of Alabama. Isolated rainfall amounts up to 4 inches in a short period of time could lead to isolated flash flooding.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are possible again today, especially across the southeast, with afternoon highs climbing to the upper 80s to low 90s
Due to a late summer cold front, afternoon highs on Sunday will only range in the low to mid 80s. Shower and thunderstorm chances will also linger through the evening hours.
