Expect above-normal high temperatures to continue through Saturday, followed by a slow decrease in high temperatures through the weekend and into early next week before cooler temperatures are forecast on Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day.
The latest Drought Monitor reveals a large area of Moderate to Extreme drought across the state. Due to ongoing warm & dry conditions, drought is expected to persist & expand over the coming months. A Fire Danger Advisory remains in effect. More: https://forestry.alabama.gov
Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight north with isolated showers expected far north and far west. Patchy fog is expected across the southern portion of the area overnight. Lows will range from the mid 50s far southeast to near 60 west and central.
Expect increasing clouds through the day on Friday with showers and some thunderstorms arriving from the west and moving east across much of the area. Highs will be in the 70s areawide.
