Worsening heat and humidity Monday through Wednesday with heat index values ranging from 100-110 degrees. Moderate to major heat risk across the region. Stay hydrated and practice heat safety!
Today will be mostly cloudy across Central Alabama with scattered showers & a few thunderstorms. Daytime high temperatures will be in the upper 80s to the middle 90s. Winds will be from the northwest to the west at 5 to 10 mph.
For tonight, mostly dry conditions during the evening, but showers and storms may move into the north after 4 AM. Lows will be in the lower to mid 70s.
