A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for all of Central Alabama on Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm. Sustained winds 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph, are expected, along with minimum relative humidity below 25 percent. Steps to take include avoiding open flames, keeping vehicles away from dry grass, and property discarding cigarettes and similar items.

Above-normal temperatures are forecast for Thursday and Friday, with a brief weekend cooldown to seasonable temperatures before rebounding back to above-normal next week. There is little to no chance for rain over the next several days.

Fair weather is expected across Central Alabama tonight with low temperatures in the 50s and 60s.

Increasing clouds with a passing cold front for Central Alabama. Low chance of rain across northern Central Alabama. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
