A National Weather Service storm survey confirmed a
torndo, which was associated with the outer bands of
Hurricane Idalia. The tornado touched down just south of
Hwy 17 in the White Hall Community of Mount Pleasant. It
moved northward across portions of the Carolina Park
Community, ending in the northeast portion of the Park
West Community, just south of the Wando River. Generally
minor tree and some very minor roof damage was found
along the path, as well as one car being pushed into a
tree.
