NWS Charleston, SC is responsible for routine forecasts of winds, seas, and weather for the nearby waters off the southeast South Carolina and northern Georgia coasts. Non-routine products and services include Special Marine Warnings for strong winds, large hail and/or waterspouts, Advisories and Warnings for high tides, and daily beach forecasts from spring through fall which include the rip current risk.
